is being taught at the Long & Foster Realtors® office in

would like to invite you to come and talk with me about your
real estate career. I have had my license for 32 years
and have been managing for over five years. I love
brainstorming, problem solving and teaching. I have
also established a mentoring and coaching program in my
office and do all I can to help you become a successful
agent. If you want a fun, exciting, challenging and
always interesting career, real estate is the place to be.

Derick Hammond has been in real estate since 1996. Prior to starting his real estate career, he was a Complex Director for Student Housing at Richard Stockton college of New Jersey, and a Teacher with the District of Columbia Public Schools. He started his real estate career with Weichert Realtors and Long and Foster Real Estate, Inc. In 1999, he became the Associate Broker and Sales manager at Weichert Realtors in Washington, DC. While at Weichert, he directed ongoing operations and budgets for two of Weichert Realtors most visible offices, with 100 agents and administrative staff. Within ten months, he more than doubled the number of listings and revenue units from the previous year. In 2005, he became the Associate Broker and Sales Manager with Long and Foster in Alexandria, VA. He maintains an in-depth current knowledge of the market in specific communities. He has directed the recruitment and retention of real estate agents. He provides training and coaching, counseling agents concerning professional development. He holds a BS in Public Administration with a minor in Speech Communication from Shippensburg University, and a Master of Public Administration from Temple University. |
