Virginia Continuing Education (CE)

State Education Requirements
	Education: Virginia Salespersons and Brokers must earn 16 credit-hours of state-approved continuing education from a state-approved real estate school prior to each renewal date (every 2 years). Exception for PLE: Licensed Virginia Salespersons must complete PLE within the first 2 years of receiving a license (first renewal period). During this time, no additional CE is required. Update: Beginning July 1, 2008, Brokers must earn 24 credits of CE prior to each renewal date (every 2 years).
