Jim Crawford, ABR, e-PRO 500 is currently licensed as a Broker Associate with Prudential Carruthers Realtors Fairfax VA. He was originally licensed in NY in 1978, and is currently licensed as a broker associate in the states of Virginia, Maryland, and Georgia. Jim is a self-taught webmaster, blogmaster, and web designer, relying exclusively on the Internet for marketing. Jim is considered an expert on marketing, nationwide relocation, cutting edge technology, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for real estate, and Internet marketing. Jim's seminars, online contributions, and technology ideas assist real estate agents to maximize their business results, foster ethics in our business practices, and raise the industry's professional service level skills. His common sense marketing ideas have been published and quoted regularly in trade publications. He has also consulted and advised NAR offices regarding Internet issues, and Internet ethics for Realtors. He currently is an Associate Broker for Prudential Carruthers Realtors in Oakton, VA where he manages a real estate investment team. Prior to starting a career in real estate he attended the University of Virginia. He then started his own manufacturing business in Arlington, VA and later joined the Rust Engineering Company based in Birmingham, Alabama (1969-1975) as Vice President, Real Estate Development. Since 1975, he has spent most of his career as a managing broker for 5 different brokerage firms – the last 19 years with Prudential. When he is not busy managing people, he enjoys gardening, wood working, model railroading, and playing music.
